Understand Pod Skalco off-season apartment prices, cleaning, tourist tax, longer-stay discounts and deposits before comparing dates near Bled.
The useful number when comparing accommodation near Bled is the total for your actual stay. A nightly rate alone does not include every cost, and a longer visit can qualify for an accommodation discount. This guide explains Pod Skalco's published rules; use the booking form for a date-specific quote and availability.
Current apartment rates
€130 per night. The accommodation price is reduced by 5% for 7 to 13 nights and 10% from 14 nights. Cleaning: €40 per stay. Minimum stay: 3 night(s). Longer stays can be quoted individually. The in-season rate applies from 06-15 through 09-15; the rate outside that period is €100 per night.
The season dates in that summary are shown as month-day. Stays crossing a season boundary are priced night by night. A low-season holiday should be compared using the same arrival, departure and guest details across properties.
What else enters the total?
Cleaning is charged per stay rather than per night. Tourist tax is separate: €2.50 per adult per night and €1.25 for a child in the chargeable age category stated in the price section. The accommodation discount does not reduce cleaning or tourist tax.
Use the booking form with your party details before committing. If travelling with children, confirm their ages and the applicable tax with the hosts. Do not compare an apartment total for a family with a per-person hotel figure without adjusting the guest count.
Longer stays and the cost of a change of base

Self-catering also changes how you budget. You can prepare some meals, but groceries, restaurants, transport and attraction tickets remain separate expenses. Free parking at Pod Skalco does not mean parking at every attraction is free.
